Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Dropory ("Dropory", "we", "us") and govern your access to and use of the Dropory wedding-planning application and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your account credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
The Service
Dropory helps couples plan their wedding by, among other things, maintaining a checklist, discovering and contacting suppliers, managing a controlled inbox, scheduling, tracking guests and RSVPs, and building a simple wedding website. We may add, change or remove features over time to improve the Service.
The core Service is provided free of charge. Optional extras — such as a custom domain — may be offered and quoted separately. We will make any applicable charges clear before you incur them.
Connecting a Gmail account
Some features require you to connect a Gmail account so that Dropory can send supplier outreach and operate your controlled inbox on your behalf. We strongly recommend connecting a dedicated wedding-only Gmail rather than a personal account that may contain private or confidential information. You can disconnect at any time from Settings, which stops sending and syncing.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use the connected account and for the content of messages sent through it. Our handling of mailbox data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or content that is unlawful, deceptive, harassing or abusive;
- Violate the terms of Google, your email provider, or any anti-spam or marketing laws that apply to you;
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
- Infringe the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of others;
- Interfere with, disrupt, probe or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems;
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of these Terms.
To protect deliverability for everyone, the Service applies sending limits and spacing. You may not attempt to circumvent these safeguards.
Your content
You retain ownership of the content and information you submit to the Service ("Your Content"). You grant Dropory a limited licence to host, process and transmit Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you — for example, to deliver the messages you choose to send and to publish the wedding website you create. You are responsible for Your Content and for having the rights necessary to use it.
Suppliers and third parties
Dropory helps you discover and contact wedding suppliers, but we are not a party to any agreement between you and a supplier and we do not provide their services. We do not guarantee the availability, quality, pricing or conduct of any supplier. Any booking, contract, payment or dispute is solely between you and the supplier. Information about suppliers may not always be complete or accurate, and you should verify details directly before relying on them.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, text and branding (excluding Your Content), is owned by Dropory and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law.
Beta service
The Service may be offered as a beta and is provided on an evolving basis. This means features may change, and you may occasionally encounter errors or interruptions. We appreciate your feedback as we continue to improve.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any email you send will be delivered or will reach a recipient's primary inbox.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dropory and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, profits, bookings or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dropory from any claims, damages, liabilities and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms or any applicable law or third-party rights.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability and indemnity — will survive.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at Dropory's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located there will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
